This device can be used to treat the oily bilge water in order to reach the requirements of IMO.MEPC.107 (49) resolution, which is also called 15ppm bilge separator. It contains type approved 15ppm bilge water separator, 15ppm bilge alarm and Automatic shut down Device.

Working Principle

The device adopts the combination of 1st stage cone plate gravity and coalesce separator; 2nd stage fiber filter, and 3rd stage membrane permeation, in order to make the treated bilge water to reach the requirements of discharge standard of the Resolution of IMO MEPC.107 (49).

bilge water comes into the 1st stage separator, inside it is a vacuum negative pressure stage by the suction of the feeding pump, and it effectively prevents the problem that the bilge water is difficult to be separated because of the emulsion caused by feed pump under pressure. The liquid coming out of Feeding pump is adsorbed and filtered by the 2nd stage fiber filter, and then goes into the 3rd stage membrane to reach the discharge standard.

Maintenance

1 Daily maintenance

1.1 The suction filter assembly must be washed at least once for each week. If the strainer mesh is damaged, it should be timely repaired or replaced with 80 stainless steel wire mesh.

1.2 Inspect the operating state of the bilge water pump, such as the operating temperature, noise, leakage and the belt tension etc.

1.3 Regularly inspect and record the working pressure of the manometers. Whether the equipment is operating normally or not may be decided by the pressure differences of the coalescer and dialysis apparatus .

1.4 Inspect the operating state of the automatic oil-discharging device.

1.5 Inspect he operating state of the 15ppm bilge water alarm device according to the Operating Instructions for the 15ppm Bilge Water Alarm Device.
