The ship’s main fire pump is generally powered by the main power source and is usually installed in the machinery space. When the main fire pump cannot be used normally due to a fire in the cabin, the marine emergency fire pump will serve as an alternative facility to undertake the fire extinguishing function of the ship. Therefore, ship emergency fire pump occupies an important position in ship fire protection system. The inlet and outlet of the fixed emergency fire pump are flanged or pipe threaded, and the base is a steel frame or a small trolley frame with fixed legs.
