Principle Description

This series hot water tank can be combined to use with fresh water pressure tank on board, that is to use fresh water in fresh water pressure tank to replenish this tank, and then heated by electric or steam heating elements   for usage of entire vessel.

Temperature controller: The water temperature in tank is controlled by two WTZK-50-C pressure type temperature controllers; If the water temperature in tank is lower than 50℃, the power will be on automatically and the electric heater will begin to heat; If the water temperature in tank is higher than 65℃, the power will be off automatically and the electric heater will stop heating.

Temperature regulating valve: open and close it according to the set temperature control range.

Float level Switch: to protect the electric heater, if the liquid level in tank is lower than float level switch, the electric heater will cut off automatically.

Pressure gauge: to show the pressure in tank.

Thermometer: to show the water temperature in tank.

Safety valve: If the pressure in tank is more than 0.42MPa, the safety valve will open to release the pressure in tank.

Operation method

1 Adjust the temperature control range.

1.1 Set the low temperature and high temperature of temperature regulating valve to 50℃ and 60℃ separately.

1.2 Set the low temperature controller and high temperature controller to 50℃ and 65℃ separately.

2 Set the open pressure of safety valve

2.1 Set the open pressure of safety valve. When the pressure in tank is over 0.42MPa, the safety valve will take off to release the pressure in tank.

3 Normal operation

3.1 Open the water inlet and outlet valve. Start the electric heater. When the temperature in tank is lower than 50℃, it will start automatically until the temperature reaching 65℃.

3.2  If using the steam heater, start the temperature regulating valve. When the temperature in tank is lower than 50℃, it will open automatically until the temperature reaching 60℃. Then close.

3.3 If using the electric heater, start the electric heater. When the temperature in tank is lower than 50℃, it will open automatically until the temperature reaching 60℃. Then close.

Maintenance

1. The temperature adjusting valve should be installed on horizontal pipeline vertically. The arrow direction on valve should be consistent with the flow direction of medium. Keep a certain space for easy maintenance. There should be check valve and pressure gauge at the front and back of temperature adjusting valve. The temperature adjusting valve should be cleaned regularly. The pipeline which is used to install temperature adjusting valve should be clean. There can’t be any debris such as iron filings in it. It is needed to implement rust removal flushing before installing pipeline and temperature regulating valve.

Open the check valve at the front and back of temperature adjusting valve to make the temperature adjusting valve work normally. If the water temperature is lower than the higher limit of needed temperature, the adjusting valve is opened. At this time, the pressure gauge at the back of valve will return to null point (perhaps the temperature will rise several degrees when there is no temperature outputted due to thermal inertia). It means it fits the requirements. If the water temperature can’t reach or has exceeded the control limit of regulating valve, please adjust according to the instruction book of temperature regulating valve.

2. The WTZK-50-C marine pressure type temperature controller should be installed on instrument panel vertically. It is strictly forbidden to stir with hands or tools. The Temperature detection layer should be immersed in water completely. Don’t impact and compress the capillary. The bending radius can't be shorter than 50mm. It is needed to fix the capillary with clip every 300mm to ensure the safety.

3. During the using of electric heater, if there is scale or carbon deposition on pipe, it is needed to use after cleaning so as to avoid affecting the service life and efficiency of electric element. If it is without of using for a long time, When the cold insulation resistance is lower than 1MΩ, it can be cured in the oven of 200℃ until returning to normal.

4. Remove and clean the water tank regularly. After cleaning and brushing the inner wall, determine whether repaint according to flaking condition of painting. Repaint the out surface with anti-corrosive paint, meanwhile, replace wearing parts. After the spare parts are dry, reassemble it.
