Application

A shafting intermediate bearing is a type of marine bearing that supports the propeller shaft between the engine room and the stern tube. It is typically located in the midship region of the vessel and is used to reduce the bending stress and vibration on the propeller shaft. The shafting intermediate bearing is suitable for inland water vessels.This type of intermediate bearing is recommended for small and medium vessels in land water. There are four types A, B, C and D. Type A and type B are gliding intermediate bearing; and type C and type D are rolling intermediate bearing.
