Description:

Oil boom refers to a kind of equipment that gathers oil and dirt on water surface with floating body with skirt under water to prevent their diffusion. Portable booms are commonly used to block the spread of oil in offshore and port oil spills. It is composed of inflatable floating body, skirt, tension band, counterweight chain, anchor, etc. It is fixed around the oil surface which needs to be enclosed by anchorage. According to the use area, it can be divided into Marine type, offshore type, port type and other types, and has corresponding different technical data.
