Differential Pressure Transmitter

Differential Pressure Transmitter

Introduction:

A differential pressure transmitter is a device used to measure the difference in pressure between two points in a fluid system. It is commonly used in various industries, including oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing, to monitor and control processes that involve the flow, level, or pressure of fluids.

The basic principle behind a differential pressure transmitter is the measurement of the pressure difference between two sensing points. Typically, it consists of a sensing element, a transmitter, and a display or control unit. The sensing element, often a diaphragm or a set of pressure sensors, is exposed to the fluid system at the two points where the pressure difference needs to be measured.
