Air diffuser

Air Diffuser

1. Description

Air diffuser is a device used to distribute and circulate air in an enclosed space, such as a room or building. It is typically installed as part of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system and helps to regulate airflow and maintain comfortable indoor conditions.

The primary function of an air diffuser is to disperse conditioned air from the HVAC system evenly throughout the room. It achieves this by breaking up the airflow and redirecting it in different directions. This helps to prevent drafts, stagnant air pockets, and temperature imbalances within the space.

2. Air Diffusers with Various Types

Ceiling diffusers: These diffusers are mounted on the ceiling and supply air in a downward direction. They often feature adjustable fins or louvers that allow you to control the direction and spread of the airflow.

Floor diffusers: As the name suggests, these diffusers are installed at floor level. They are commonly used in spaces where air conditioning needs to be supplied close to the ground, such as in large open areas or rooms with high ceilings.

Wall diffusers: These diffusers are mounted on the walls and direct air horizontally. They are commonly used in applications where ceiling or floor installation is not feasible or preferred.

Slot diffusers: Slot diffusers are long, narrow openings that are usually installed along the ceiling or walls. They create a continuous line of airflow and are often used in modern architectural designs.

Round diffusers: Round diffusers are circular in shape and can be mounted on the ceiling or walls. They provide a 360-degree distribution of air and are commonly used in smaller rooms or spaces.
