Material and characteristics：

l Stainless steel: strong corrosion resistance, suitable for high humidity and high salinity environment.

l Aluminum alloy: light weight, corrosion resistance, suitable for weight-sensitive areas.

l ABS plastic: low cost, convenient installation, suitable for internal ventilation system.

l Glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP): Good corrosion resistance, suitable for ventilation system of chemical storage cabin.

SUGGESTION:

1. Corrosion resistance is preferred: if the ship often operates in a high salt fog environment, it is recommended to choose stainless steel or aluminum alloy.

2. Cost control: If the budget is limited, consider galvanized steel plate or ABS plastic.

3. Weight sensitive area: For weight sensitive areas, such as passenger cabin, aluminum alloy is a better choice.

4. Fire protection requirements: ensure that the selected materials meet the fire protection specifications of the classification society.
