Installation of Marine Sacrificial Anode

The sacrificial anode can be installed by welding or bolting. Generally speaking, the welding method is simple, the installation fastness is high, and the contact resistance is small. The bolt installation is easy to replace, and the coating on the surrounding and the back of the steel plate can not be damaged during replacement.

The installation of sacrificial anode should pay attention to the following points:

(1) Before installation, the back of the anode should be coated with an insulating varnish, and the surface of the hull at the installation place should be coated with insulating varnish or other insulating materials to prevent the back of the anode from falling off due to corrosion, and also make the back of the anode ineffective. The use area of the anode is the same as The design values are consistent;

(2) It is strictly forbidden to paint or pollute the surface of the anode, and protect it before painting and launching;

(3) The anode should be welded at the specified position during installation, the back of the anode should be pressed tightly against the surface of the hull, and the welded part of the iron leg should be painted with paint.
