Application

A Type B gliding watertight lower rudder bearing is another specialized type of rudder bearing used in marine vessels that provides a bearing surface for the lower end of the rudder stock and allows it to rotate smoothly. Like the Type A gliding watertight lower rudder bearing, the Type B also features a gliding mechanism that reduces friction and wear on the rudder system. Type B gliding watertight lower rudder bearing is used to support the weight of the rudder stock and the rudder. Besides, it is also used to ensure the water tightness of the hull. This lower rudder bearer is used together with the CB*789-84 upper rudder pintle. Type B gliding watertight lower rudder bearing is a watertight lower rudder bearing with sealing rings distributed at both ends of the bushing
