Metal Corrugated Composite Gasket

Metal Corrugated Composite Gasket

Description

Metal corrugated composite gasket is a kind of metal composite gasket, also known as corrugated active pressure gasket. First, the metal sheet is pressed into concentric corrugated shape. The mechanical support is provided by the corrugation. The resilience of the metal corrugated composite gasket is determined by the form, metal thickness, corrugated spacing and corrugated height. Then the soft sealing material is added according to the need, so that the metal corrugated composite gasket has better compression resilience. According to different media and working conditions, flexible graphite, PTFE, asbestos-free board or some other soft metals can be selected and pasted on the two sides of the gasket, making use of the sealing property of the soft covering layer, as well as the strength and elasticity of the metal, to achieve better sealing effect. In most cases, we recommend graphite as sealing layer. When the medium reacts with graphite or requires a clean environment, we recommend the newly developed expanded tetrafluoro as adhesive layer. Generally, the sealing effect can be achieved without great pressure.

Application

It can be used for sealing requirements of almost any standard industry. It connects standard pipes to Yanmen and large container seals (heat exchangers, towers, tanks, troughs). It is suitable for high temperature, high pressure, flammable, explosive and toxic medium fluids. In the case of temperature and pressure alternation, metal corrugated composite gaskets can show supergroup sealing performance.

Feature

1. Excellent compression resilience can achieve excellent sealing performance even under low compression force. It is especially suitable for high temperature, high pressure and alternating working conditions. It is an ideal substitute for traditional metal-wound gaskets and metal-clad gaskets.

2. Metal corrugated composite gasket does not damage the sealing surface and is easy to disassemble.

3. It can be used in low temperature and high temperature (-200 +700) as well as low pressure and high pressure (vacuum~25Mpa). Metal corrugated composite gaskets made of corresponding metal skeleton materials can be used in most corrosive fluids.

4. Metal corrugated parts can be reused, which is of great significance for larger gaskets or gaskets of special materials such as heat exchanger gaskets.
