Marine Float level controller

Marine Float level controller

General:

A marine float level controller is a device used in marine applications to control the liquid level in tanks or containers. It consists of a float mechanism that moves up and down with the changing liquid level and triggers specific actions based on predefined set points.

The basic principle of a marine float level controller involves the use of a float that is buoyant in the liquid being monitored. As the liquid level rises or falls, the float moves correspondingly. The float is typically attached to a lever or a rod that transmits its motion to a switch or control mechanism.

The switch or control mechanism is responsible for initiating actions based on the float position. For example, when the liquid level reaches a predetermined high level, the float will rise and activate a switch, which can then trigger an alarm, shut off a pump, or open a valve to prevent overflow or overfilling. Similarly, when the liquid level drops to a low level, the float will descend and activate another switch, which can start a pump to refill the tank or initiate other necessary actions.
