Magnetic Float Level Gauge

Magnetic Float Level Gauge

Introduction:

A magnetic float level gauge is a device used to measure the level of liquid in tanks, vessels, or other containers. It relies on the principles of buoyancy and magnetism to provide accurate and reliable level readings.

The basic components of a magnetic float level gauge include a float, a magnetic system, and an indicating mechanism. The float is typically a hollow, buoyant object that is partially filled with a liquid or gas, allowing it to float on the surface of the liquid being measured. The float is attached to a guide tube or chamber, which is mounted vertically alongside the tank or vessel.

Inside the guide tube, there are one or more magnetic switches or magnets that move in response to the position of the float. These magnets are connected to an external indicator or a sensor, which provides a visual or electronic representation of the liquid level. As the liquid level changes, the float rises or falls, causing the magnets to move accordingly and provide an accurate indication of the level.
