5m³ Marine Heavy Fuel Oil Supply Supply Unit

5m³ Marine Heavy Fuel Oil Supply Supply Unit

Brief Introduction

When a diesel engine burns heavy oil, a certain viscosity and temperature are required, and the heavy oil must be treated by the fuel supply unit.

The marine fuel supply unit is an integrated equipment module for conveying, heating, filtering, pressurizing, and viscosity control of the heavy oil when the main engine or auxiliary engine of the ship burns heavy oil.

Working Principle

Fuel has been stored in the daily fuel tank in the cabin, and the fuel has been heated to 70-95°C.

Operate the three-way selector valve of the module to choose whether to use heavy oil or diesel, and then the fuel enters the barrel coarse filter for coarse filtration. The crudely filtered fuel is injected into the mixing tank by the fuel supply pump.

The fuel in the mixing tank is pressurized by the circulating pump and injected into the steam (or heat transfer oil) heater. Steam (or heat transfer oil) heating is not required when using diesel fuel, while steam (or heat transfer oil) heating is required when using heavy oil.

The heated fuel is sent to the fuel inlet of the diesel engine through a semi-automatic double-cylinder fine filter and a viscometer.

The viscometer converts the actual viscosity signal of the fuel heated by steam (or heat transfer oil) into an electrical signal, which is input to the viscosity controller. In the viscosity control instrument, after the actual viscosity electrical signal input is compared with the viscosity electrical signal that the viscosity control instrument has set, the viscosity control instrument will output a control electrical signal to the actuator. The magnitude of this control electrical signal can control the opening of the actuator-steam (or heat transfer oil) control valve, thereby increasing or reducing the heat of heating the fuel in the steam (or heat transfer oil) heater. In this way, the viscosity of the fuel can be controlled within an ideal setting range to ensure that the diesel engine can run in the best condition.

Maintenance

In the process of running the system, the following work must be done:

1. Maintain regular inspection, check the pressure, temperature, oil quality and fuel supply status of the system, and make a good record, find problems and deal with them in time.

two。. If the pressure difference between the oil supply pump and the supply pressure reaches 0.06-0.08 MPa, the backwash discharge of the filter must be carried out.

3. Keep the surrounding environment and equipment clean and tidy, clean and wipe the equipment and system frequently.

4. During the operation of the system, the window should be opened to facilitate the heat dissipation of the equipment and indoor ventilation (forced ventilation of the relevant equipment if necessary).

5. During the operation of the fuel system, the requirements of electrical and fire safety codes should be complied with.
