Marine CO2 Fire-fighting System
Description:
Carbon dioxide fire extinguishing system which is composed by Fire detection and alarm control systems, fixed fire extinguishing devices, pipe networks and nozzles refers to a gas fire extinguishing system and uses carbon dioxide as the fire extinguishing agent.
Carbon dioxide fire extinguishing agent is a pure natural substance, which has non-conductive effect it is an ideal fire-fighting material system applied in Sea-going ships, engaged in international/domestic voyages, oil platforms and such as places as plants, mines, docks and warehouses, etc.
Principle:
When a fire occurs in the protection area, the smoke and temperature detectors will analyze and process the detected fire signals through the fire alarm control system, giving a fire extinguishing command, opening the container valve, and spraying the fire extinguishing agent through the control valve, pipeline, nozzle, etc.
It is quickly vaporize and cool down and isolate oxygen to put out the fire. According to the different protection areas and objects, total submerged fire extinguishing or partial fire extinguishing can be selected.
