Description:
A piston pump is a type of positive displacement pump in which the high pressure seal and the reciprocating piston. Piston pumps can be used to transport liquids or compressed gases. They can operate in a wide pressure range. High-pressure operation can be achieved without a strong influence on the flow rate. Piston pumps can also handle viscous media and media containing solid particles.
This type of pump works through a piston cup, an oscillating mechanism (where the downward stroke causes a pressure difference), and filling the pump cavity (the upward stroke forces the pump fluid to flow out for use). Piston pumps are usually used in scenarios that require high and consistent pressure and water irrigation or delivery systems.
